| Fields of intervention of the institution and its past experience in trans-national co-operation actions |

We realize very widely running cooperation with another Branches of Institute of Meteorology and Water Management, which have good experience in solve too the problem in hydro-meteorological issue and tranboundary water. |

International research project: "Investigation on the quantity of diffuse entries in the rivers of the Odra basin and the Pomeranian Bay to develop decision facilities for an integrated approach on water protection"; Our contribution in phase III: :"Point and diffuse emissions of pollutants, their retention in the river system of the Odra and scenario calculations on possible changes". |

Estimation of reference conditions and historical changes of the nutrient emissions into the river system of Odra. |

Cooperation with partner from and validation of SEROS (GKSS) in last stage of preparation (the hydrological simulation model for Odra River catchment). |

Join in 2003 and taking part to the European Flood Alert System (attendance in 2nd workshop on 10-12 November 2004 in Ispra , Italy ). |

Specific role of the partner in the implementation and management of the project
|

1. |
Helping in developing highly accessible decision support system for use by public authorities as a tools for better flood and water resources management. |
2. |
We have a cooperation system of with some national and regional institutions (end users of our products), after completion of the project is planned a special meeting with representatives of the collaborating institution with aim to inform them about results of the project. |

| Why is this partner essential for the success of the project? |
1. |
As research institute we have experiences in create and apply modern methodology and techniques concerning to planning of management of water resources. |
2. |
The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) - Branch of Wroclaw represents an experience in developing systems of environment and water resources protection management evaluated on North part of the CADSES area. |
3. |
The IMGW has a very good developed system of international cooperation on management of transboundary waters with very different partners both from West ( Germany ) and East ( Ukraine , Belarus ). IMGW have been developed and still is working on the specific up to date systems of flood forecasting and flood warning measures and technologies. |
